Problem
System requirements for remote maintenance with FlexTool via RFM/GTS
:- FlexTool version 5
.1 or higher- FlexModule / Slaves software version 1.11
or higher- BGS software version 2
.5 or higher- BGT software version 3.5 or higher
Workaround
Downloading configuration data from FlexTool to control units and slaves via RFM (remote maintenance) is only supported starting with RFM SW V1.11; remote download to FlexModules with older software is blocked by FlexTool with the following message:
"Device version
does not support remote download" or Automatic synchronization of duplicated FlexModule parameters in control units after a FlexModule download requires at least software versions V1.11 in the FM, V2.5 in the BGS, and V3.5 in the BGT; BGS or BGT units with older firmware must be loaded locally (via Ethernet or BGS file transfer) with the configuration from FlexTool after a FlexModule download ("manual synchronization," as before)
