Addressing conflicts/errors in the Griesser LINK network; perform a system reset to resolve

Description

If Griesser LINK devices (Flexmodule, BGS, BGT, GTS) are configured using FlexTool without ALL Griesser LINK devices configured in FlexTool being in operation and connected via Griesser LINK, addressing conflicts may occur later during operation within the device network. Under certain circumstances, individual Griesser LINK devices may then not be addressable via the ID assigned by FlexTool. The products affected are Flexmodul, BGS, BGT, and GTS (all Griesser LINK devices except FUE, FG-4, and FlexTool). Improvements

have been made to the Flexmodul software to reduce the likelihood of this problem occurring.
These improvements are included in the following releases:
FMX/gFM/FS-4I SW V1.19

Workaround

Perform a system reset to restart Griesser LINK devices capable of processing this command (broadcast).
If the problem cannot be resolved via a system reset, disconnect all Griesser LINK devices from the power supply and reconnect them while all devices remain connected to each other via Griesser LINK (see Bug RM003519).

Triggering the system reset:
- Flex module and GTS: Press the LINK button until the LINK LED flashes rapidly (takes approx. 5 seconds), then release the LINK
button. - GTS additionally: Via web interface / Setup, "System Reset" button
- BGT: Press the "Reset System" button

in the Service Menu Required software versions for triggering and processing the system reset
:- BGT: The "Reset System" button performs a reset of all Flex modules (Unicast) and, starting with SW V3.8, additionally triggers the broadcast system
reset - GTS: System reset starting with SW V2.2 (triggered with the LINK button only in normal operation (LED off); in "IP Factory Settings" mode (LED on), the system reset has no effect).
- FMX/gFM/FS-4I SW V1.20
