BGS won't start; error message: "Could not connect to Griesser Link"

Description

A new driver update for the PEAK-PCAN software has been installed.
Although the FTDUS adapter is correctly connected to the USB port, the BGS cannot be started. The error message "could not connect to Griesser Link" appears.

Workaround

The PEAK-PCAN driver was not installed correctly. In this case,
you must: Uninstall Flextool and the PEAK-PCAN driver under "Control Panel - Programs and Features," then "PCAN OEM Setup…".
Then restart the PC and reinstall Flextool using the PEAK-PCAN driver setup "PcanOemSetup.exe".
