Problem

The blinds connected to an AeroTec or VarioTec no longer operate properly; for example, they can only be operated in small increments.
This problem mainly occurs when the control units are installed in multiple flush-mounted boxes, as this generates more heat (due to the number of devices) and causes the electrolytic capacitors to dry out.

Workaround

Since December 2009, additional tantalum capacitors have been installed in the AeroTec and VarioTec, which resolves this problem, which primarily occurs in Switzerland (in Germany, only single-unit flush-mounted boxes are used).
