Shading Strategy: Trailing
Problem
When the status of the shading program on the EMX-8 changes from active to inactive (10 minutes after the light level falls below the threshold), the EMX-8 sends a P4 movement command.
The transparent position reached as a result (during the delay period in the dark) can lead to annoying glare, especially in sectors facing west (or east) where the sun is low in the sky.
In the EMX-8 manual (help file), this P4 is not mentioned in the strategy description (Sector Action).
The Sector Action "Shading Position with Follow-up" in the EMX-8 actually corresponds functionally to the "Brightness" shading strategy in FlexTool.
If "Tracking Down" is selected for the Sector Action in the EMX-8 (Shading tab), a P4 is sent 10 minutes after the value falls below the "Dark" threshold (i.e., the system is set to "Transparent" even during the delay period).
Workaround
- Set the dark threshold lower
