UniTec Programming

Problem

After the UniTec units were programmed, no more Griesser Progreso/AstroTec units could be programmed into the receivers.

Cause: The P button on the UniTec was pressed too early/in advance, causing the channel to switch from transmitter mode to Uni mode, and consequently causing the system to also switch to Uni mode while programming the UniTec units.

Workaround

Do not press the P button before the receivers are in learning mode. During programming, the active channel is assigned to a radio system. If the receivers are not in learning mode, the channel switches from the transmitter to Uni mode (since it receives no feedback from the receiver). To return to the initial state, press the STOP and P buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds until the status indicator lights up.
New as of September 2015: BiLine UniTec models 179636 / 179645 (same part number as before), which can no longer be switched to Uni mode.
